Samadi May Happening

Samadi May Happenings

Hi friends!

Summer is around the corner, a calling to sprout new growth! This month we are focusing on internal expansion as we emerge from rest and begin the process of creating a nurturing space to step into. In practice, we recommend heart-opening postures and extended seated meditations to invite evolution and growth.

As the season changes, the ocean waters cool and the air temperatures chill at night, it’s a good time of year to rejuvenate every cell in your body through slow stable practice.  This month we have many exciting events and a new meditation class that will help open your doors to receive fresh energy. We are lucky to have incredibly wise and talented teachers all bringing you unique gifts that we are thrilled to share with you.

Here is to the surfacing of optimism, opportunity and strength this time of the year.

Meet Agathe

Samadi‘s new Meditation Facilitator

We invite you to sit and watch the functioning of your own mind in a calm and detached manner, so you can gain insight into your own behavior. The goal is awareness, a concentrated, and finely tuned awareness that you can take into all aspects of your life, harnessing the power and opportunity that each moment holds in working towards a greater self-understanding and peacefulness.

Watch Agathe’s explanation of her new Meditation class here!

We will explore various techniques such as tonglen (giving and receiving), samatha (silent sitting), metta (love and kindness), guided meditations on topics such as compassion, equanimity, impermanence, and interdependence, and analytical meditations on non attachment and anger.

About Agathe:
Yoga has been so fundamental in my stepping into myself and my power that my passion is now to share the many gifts of the sacred practice with others; to help people connect with and see themselves and recognize their own power.
My mission is for everyone to unearth their inner luminosity and spread joy and love so that we may all vibrate higher.

What is the importance of Spiritual Community? A Satsang, meaning in the company of truth, is an age-old tradition by sharing the depth and breadth of yoga’s timeless teachings, thought of as a relationship with the truth itself. Derived from the Sanskrit, sat (being or essence,) and sanga (“to be associated with”), refers to a fellowship with other human beings with similar spiritual aspirations. That fellowship amongst people strengthens the community as a whole. By committing to a community of spiritual seekers, you will fulfill an essential need for direction. With proper guidance, discussions and being surrounded by like minded people encourages you to reach a place of inner communion with your true nature.

Women’s Circle

Self Healing is Self Love!

As of May, Women’s Circle will now be held the First Saturday of every month!

A self healing and self loving place for women to come together with Yoga, Breathwork, Yoni Love, Dance and much more to explore the body, mind and energy system. This is a place of play and sensuality as well as being a sacred vessel for healing and transformation.

Within each of us is the innate and natural ability to heal ourselves. As we access and surrender to our own inner power we learn to understand how energy moves in the body and how we can use it to unlock stored trauma and release what no longer serves us. In this space low vibrational energy can be transformed into a higher frequency where we experience pleasure, bliss and ecstasy.
