Hi Samadians!

The spring equinox and Nyepi is right around the corner beginning March 25th! Representing the rebirth of all life on earth as if nature was asleep and our surroundings have given birth to an overabundance of existence! During this time, it’s important to keep your immune system in good health as you may be more compromised to nature blossoming’s. There are many things you can do to maintain your health as the season changes and we have many exciting new happenings at Samadi to help support you in your growth and wellness.

Breathing is the first thing we do when we are born and the last thing we do before we die, but how much importance do we give to breathing? We can stay alive for long periods without eating, drinking or sleeping, but if we cannot breathe, we die within a matter of minutes.

Unfortunately, for most of us, we don’t think twice about our pattern of breathing because it’s unconscious. We breath on average 20,000 – 24,000 times a day and half a billion breathes in an average life time, but why is breathing consciously so important?

Women Circle
Every Wednesday Lola will be holding a Women’s Circle – an invitation to the safe, sacred, and deeply nourishing space, where women come together, share their stories, and celebrate life!

During these gatherings, you can allow yourself to be who you truly are: vulnerable, capricious, beautiful, honest, raw, and wild. You will feel welcome, you will feel loved, and you will always be receiving unparalleled support and encouragement from other women.

Join Lola Malaika every Wednesday at 6pm where each circle has its own theme and practices. All women welcome!

Weekly Gong Baths

The sound and vibrational energy of gongs is an ancient and powerful tool used to help still the mind and allow the body to deeply relax.  In this state, we can begin to process and relate blocks, and come to a deep physical relaxation.  A method  to ground, energize and harmonize your energy.

During Gong and Sound Bath you will be invited by Abdi to lie down on your Yoga mat, close your eyes and let the harmonious sound of various holy instruments vibrate and lead you in to an unforgettable sensation of deep relaxation.

The Ecstatic Mystic!
Fathan has been a movie writer for years and that’s how he likes to present his music at Ecstatic Dance, as a full story or a journey. Once a member in a heavy metal band, Todjon has been creating mixtape since he was a kid using cassette tapes from radio. Now he jams to every kind of music and strongly believes in the idea that ‘sound healing’ should come from all kinds of sounds! He has always been in the scene of underground music, now offering a musical exploration experience as a space holder for the ecstatic dance journey. An open space where you can see beyond who you think you are. It’s all about you, freedom, joy and honesty.

Every Thursday at 6pm!
Ngembak Geni

Another day of silence and introspection where the Balinese will take the time to be mindful of their values – love, kindness and patience.  Ngembak Geni means the locals are free from fire performing traditional rituals and will go around the community asking each other for forgiveness from any wrong doings that may have occurred throughout the year. Wouldn’t it be lovely if we all asked each other for forgiveness once a year?
