Why You Should Hike with Us?
1. Authentic Hiking Experience
We offer the true real hiking and volcano experience, with natural treks and traditional cooking methods on the volcano. 🌋 Only 5% of hiking agents still provide this authentic experience.
2. Secluded Routes
Our hikes start with secret and secluded routes, avoiding commercial multi-purpose treks. This means you won’t be stuck in hiker traffic or be disturbed by noise from vehicles like motocross or jeeps along the way.
3. Environmental Contribution
We help improve greenery and increase tree variety around the volcanoes and mountains in Bali 🌱⛰ by planting trees during the rainy season 🌦.
4. Fresh & Authentic Breakfast
Our breakfast is fresh and natural, unlike the simple options of plain white bread, egg, and banana jam that others offer. 🙂 We serve an authentic local breakfast with sweet potatoes, corn, hot banana, a variety of tropical fruits, and hot cacao or tea. 😋
How to Book a Trek with Jack: Secluded & Secret Adventures 🌋🎶
1. Group Size
Jack primarily organizes open group trips, accommodating 4 to 12 people. More participants mean more fun and more people to share the adventure with! 🌟
2. Trek Location
Jack specializes in treks on the West side, focusing on full exploration and secluded experiences. He generally avoids shorter, commercial treks on the East for several reasons: 👇🏽
- Authenticity & Experience: The West Trek offers a more authentic and secluded experience, with a focus on volcanic landscapes. This trek provides approximately 70% more volcanic adventure, including breathtaking views, though it is longer and more challenging. 🌋
- Peace and Quiet: Enjoy fewer hikers and less noise, allowing for a more serene experience.
What to Expect on the West Trek 🌋
Black Lava Trek: Among the five treks available, the Black Lava Trek is currently open. It is longer and more challenging than other options, but the views and journey are unmatched, especially for avid hikers! 🏞️
Unique Features: This trek includes exploration of all 7 craters, witnessing the largest smoke from the last eruption, walking over fresh frozen lava, sliding on black sand, and enjoying a natural kitchen experience. With approximately 70% more volcanic encounters, it offers a distinctive adventure. 😃
