Yoga and Tibetan Bowl Sound Healing

Sun Salutations are believed to benefit the lungs, digestive system, tissues and joints. This practice increases the vital energy of prana in our body which helps remove toxins and purify the body. A series of Sun Salutations can in itself be a nice cardiovascular exercise benefitting the whole body. Sound from Tibetan Singing Bowls entrain the brain to move into theta brain wave frequencies that induce deep meditative and peace, clarity of mind, and intuition. The sound vibrations impact our nervous system, engaging our relaxation reflex and inhibiting the stress or pain response.Come experience a deep relaxation of your body, mind and soul with co-owner and energy healer Abdi.

YOGA

During the retreat we will provide daily yoga classes to compliment the other activities. Our teachers will guide you through vinyasa and yin yoga during your stay. Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic practice flowing from one pose to the other by synchronizing the movement of the body with the breath. Get ready to move, breathe, sweat and challenge yourself! Yin yoga is a chance to find balance for the body and mind. You’ll sink into long, deep “yin” postures to restore and find length. Yin yoga is a slow-down approach to melt connective tissues and cultivate a meditative mind. These yoga styles are great for beginners and more practiced students.

SURFING

Have you ever wanted to learn how to surf, or are you just looking to get out on the waves? If the answer is yes:

Batu Balong is a renowned longboard surf spot with friendly waves to dive into while Echo Beach is for the more advanced. You will be provided with a surf lesson upon request, with our partner surf instructors. Amongst the physical benefits of surfing, it has also been known to relieve stress and boost your self-confidence. Surfing is a great way to spend time outdoors, connect with nature, and improve your overall health and well-being.

YOGA WORKSHOPS

Dive deeper into the yoga practice in a workshop style setting. Learn different techniques to help strengthen your practice. In the yoga workshop we will go over yoga basics and help give you the tools to incorporate yoga into your every day life. We will also take a look at and break down more advanced postures.  This is an interactive workshop where you will be able to ask questions and explore different aspects of yoga.

TREATMENTS & THERAPIES

At Samadi we bring together holistic therapies and treatments we found helpful on our paths to support you in your radical well-being and self-empowerment. Our therapists are highly trained and experienced in their field, holding themselves to the highest standards of quality, ethics and care. To assist in your personal development and growth, Samadi offers you two traditional one hour Balinese massages and a healing therapy of your choice during your stay.

90 min Balinese Massage:

This deep Balinese massage has been handed down through generations in order to promote harmony of body, mind and soul. This massage combines steady strokes, gentle stretching, pressure points and deep tissue work using organic coconut oil.

2 hour Healing Therapy:

Chakra Crystal Healing:

Chakra Crystal Healing is a holistic therapy performed by placing Crystal stones on each of your seven chakra points administered by a Healer who was born with a special “Given Talent”. The healer then channels curative energy through the palms of his hands by focusing on the main chakra points of the body to ultimately release stress, emotional tension, clear the mind and induce a sense of harmony, tranquility and freedom.

Cranial-Sacral Therapy:

The emphasis in CranioSacral Work is to help resolve the trapped forces that underlie and govern patterns of disease and fragmentation in both body and mind. This involves the practitioner “listening through the hands” to the body’s subtle rhythms and any patterns of inertia or congestion. Through the development of subtle palpatory skills the practitioner can read the story of the body, identify places where issues are held and then follow the natural priorities for healing as directed by the patient’s own physiology. The intention of treatment is to facilitate the expression of the  CranioSacral System and so enhance the body’s own self-healing and self-regulating capabilities.  Furthermore, the practitioner’s deep and clear quality of presence can become a reflective mirror for the patient and an invaluable road map for their potential for change.

Holistic Treatments

Acupuncture:

Traditional Chinese Medicine is based on an ancient philosophy that pronounces the universe and the body in terms of two opposing forces: yin and yang. Traditional Chinese medicine explains acupuncture as a technique for balancing the flow of qi (life force), believed to flow through meridians (energy channels) in your body. By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians, acupuncture will re-balance the flow of energy moving through your body.  Acupuncture is most commonly used to treat pain, relieve stress and increase overall wellness.
