Join Melissa for a playful arm balance and inversion workshop. You will learn the fundamental basics of body alignment, breath, the use of bandhas and the essentials to properly balance on your hands and arms.

Have you always wanted to learn how to balance on your arms? During this workshop you will learn the fundamental basics of handstands, pincha mayurasana, and other more challenging arm balancing postures.

Learn techniques to use at home to start building up your core and balance. We will also take a look at how to smooth out your transitions in your self-practice also referred to as floating. Turn your life upside down for a fun and challenging workshop!

Suitable for students who practice yoga regularly.

Melissa was introduced to yoga in 2006 in Southern California, and yoga immediately became a staple in her life. Since then she began to study yoga, attended teacher trainings, and maintain a steady self-practice. Melissa is an accomplished teacher and practitioner of many forms of yoga including vinyasa, ashtanga, prenatal, and restorative. Melissa has taught several workshops on handstands and arm balances in Sweden and held on going handstand classes. She grew a love for handstands as child while she was a gymnast.
