What particularly inspired you when you did the design? Intuitive play

What was your intention? To build something which can be used in many ways

How does it feel to live there? Home (my first after 40 years)

What made you build a house of your own (a story would be great)? It’s not so long story. A piece of land and available materials (I was building for many other people :

  • Villa Embrace
  • Salon Rob Peetoom
  • Villa Issi)

During the project I realized it was most joyfull building experience in my career because if the freedom of creativity.

When it was ready, I realized it was “my home” and decided to stay instead of selling or renting it.

In 2012 I decided to share it with more people in the shape of a wellness, yoga, meditation center as it was a bit big to live in (7rooms, 9bathrooms, 3 kitchen etc…)

Together with with 3 other people Samadi Bali was created, a Wellness and Holistic Center. Its a community space where we promote health, spirituality through our services, as well as Yummy food.
